Is Kelo-cote® Right For Me?
Scarring is considered to be the final stage of wound healing. All wounds will form scars, but not all scars will become abnormal scars. Numerous types of scars can form when the average wound healing process is disrupted. Normal scars will develop during the first 48 hours following a wound closure and can fade within 3 months. Abnormal scars can occur up to 18 months later. It is important to know that scars resulting from surgical incisions can become abnormal regardless of the skill of the surgeon.
